National Quartet Convention Returns to Pigeon Forge for Weeklong Gospel Festival

The National Quartet Convention will return to Pigeon Forge this fall, bringing a week of Southern Gospel music to the LeConte Center from Sept. 27 through Oct. 4.

The convention is one of the genre's largest annual gatherings, drawing performers, industry participants and fans from across the United States and abroad. Pigeon Forge tourism officials say attendees typically arrive from about 40 states and several foreign countries.

Evening concerts featuring leading traditional Southern Gospel artists are the center of the event, but the convention functions as more than a series of performances. The week also brings fans and members of the music industry together in one location, with daytime activity and exhibitor space surrounding the concert schedule.

The LeConte Center is at 2986 Teaster Lane, near The Island and just east of the Parkway. A convention of this length can have a noticeable effect on lodging and restaurant demand, particularly when it overlaps with early fall travel in the Smokies.

Visitors who are not attending should still be aware of increased traffic around Teaster Lane during major arrival and concert periods. Those attending can reduce repeated Parkway trips by choosing lodging near the venue or using local transportation where practical.

Ticket packages, individual event access and the detailed artist schedule are handled by the convention organizer. Because performance lineups and daily times can change, attendees should use the current National Quartet Convention schedule rather than relying on older programs.

The 2026 convention is scheduled to begin Sunday, Sept. 27, and continue through Sunday, Oct. 4.
